So Katt Williams has been released after posting bond yesterday afternoon. Reportedly, his bond was about a little over $41,000. He is still facing the criminal charges for burglary and trespassing however. A few details have leaked and a man named Daniel Broach is behind Katt's arrest. He is claiming that Katt broke into his home on Sunday night with a crow bar and stole about $3,600 worth of jewelry and collectable coins.

Katt's lawyer is still maintaining his client's innocence though. His lawyer says that Katt is leasing the property and has every right to be there. The problem lies in the contract for the property and the communication between the involved parties. Katt's lawyer believes this will all be cleared up soon without too much more drama for Katt. Another spin on the situation is that the property belongs to an associate of Katt's and that Katt is being allowed to stay there while working on a film in the Atlanta area. He got into it with Broach and so Broach got angry and called the police on Katt with a fake burglary charge. Either way it goes, it seems like Katt will come out on top of this one in the end.

No further info about the situation or word from the comedian himself is available at this time. I will continue to follow it though and keep readers updated. But the 911 call has leaked, and if your interested you may listen to it below.
