Internet crime class at CPCC

Police investigators from across the Carolinas are on the CPCC North campus in Huntersville today and Tuesday, to learn more about ways of identifying and combatting Internet-based crime.
A Nevada-based company, Vere Software, is conducting the meeting. The training will cover various aspects of Internet investigations, including detection and prevention of Internet-based crimes, social networking sites, bulletin boards and news group, instant messaging and chat, and undercover operations.
